Saint-Gobain companies have been key players in a number of exciting refurbishment projects to offer a bespoke solution to the problem of ageing housing stock. The award winning Ecoterrace project, in association with Staffordshire Housing Association, to refurbish a number of Victorian terraced homes in Newcastle-Under-Lyme and the Building Research Establishment’s Victorian Terrace project, both used innovative materials and solutions to substantially increase the energy efficiency of these older buildings.
